Use the discussion area
Click on the tab above and introduce yourselves to one another. Provide each other with contact information, schedule, etc.
Use the discussion to brainstorm and make decisions about your DS.
Divide up the work
Each team needs to divide up the tasks for putting together both the cited script and the digital story. Here are some suggestions:
Project Manager
Makes sure the project stays on track
Follows the directions and gets questions answered
Cited Script Development:
Researchers
Everyone participates in this role
Divide the topic into sub-topic areas and research each of those
Compiler
Puts together the first draft of the cited script
Provides a copy of the draft and waits for input from team members
Editor
Checks formatting, grammar, and spelling for the cited script
Types up the title page and makes sure every particpant's name is included
Digital Story Creation:
Digital pictures
Locate and download digital pictures (use flickr.com)
Record the citation - provide the URL where each picture came from
Music
Locate and download open source music
Record the citation - provide the URL where music came from
PhotoStory3 or VoiceThread
Load pictures and music into software/website
Provide organization and timing
Add voice (this can, and should, be more than one person)
Editor
Check pictures, music, voice overs to make sure they communicate your topic
Make sure all are cited
Make sure the URL for VoiceThread works when it is loaded

Rich- I'm not terrible sure where this is supposed to go, but it suggested I give my info. My cell is 1(847) 565-9287 and my schedule is pretty much 10am-5pm on tuesdays and thursdays. I'm free the rest of the week if we need to meet up for anything.
I put my info in the discussion area.. I thought I did it during class, but it didn't show up, so I tried it again. I'll put my schedule there too. Also, I keep meaning to go to the library and look for books on teachers or something to start researching... have a good snow day!
